What happens when the beta ends
The useful thing to know about a free product is what it will cost later. Here is what we can commit to now.
You will be told first
Pricing will be announced with notice, by email, before anything is charged. Nobody using Everykept during the beta will discover a subscription on a statement.
Your records stay yours
A paid tier will be about ongoing bank sync and storage, not about holding the transactions and receipts you have already built up.
It will be a subscription
Not advertising, and not data brokerage. Bank connections and receipt storage cost real money per account, and a subscription is the honest way to cover that.
The incentive
Why a finance app that charges you is the safer one
A free personal finance product has to earn its keep somewhere. Historically that has meant advertising against your spending patterns, referral fees for recommending financial products, or selling aggregated transaction data. All three make your behaviour the inventory and put the company’s incentives at an angle to yours.
Everykept has none of those today and is not building toward any of them. There is no advertising network in the product, no analytics pixel on this page, and no arrangement to sell or broker what is in your account. That is also the reason you are not being asked to dismiss a cookie consent dialog right now — the only cookie set is the one that keeps you signed in.

Pricing questions
It is free while the product is in beta, and no card is required to sign up. Paid plans will arrive once the product leaves beta, and anyone using it before then will be told what is changing well in advance rather than being billed by surprise.
No. Exporting what you have put in is something you should always be able to do, and any future paid tier will be about ongoing sync and storage rather than access to the records you have already built up.
